Finally..after what seems like eternity, i've a moment to update my blog. heh..what to do..life's been pretty busy for me..Started my final semester last week, and boy! Was i in for a biiiiig surprise! Assignments are getting much much tougher, and specs getting mre strict. Plus, work is really piling up in the office!! All projects seems to be very urgent. Ive to stay alert at all times and keep toggling between projects with different managers just to keep up with the crazy deadlines.
I was extremely busy since last Saturday. Had a few gatherings over the weekend. First, there's this HiTea session me and Amal organised for the volunteers of GSST and Futsal Tournament of 2006 over at Makmur Rest on Sat. There were about 20 sisters and 10 brothers who made it on that day. I was a bit scared at first cos by Friday, we only got less then 20 person confirming their attendance. So i had to slash down the order from 40 to 30pax. But of course me & Amal was ecstatic when we "cun-cun" hit 30 pax on that day. Haha! At least the $$ spent was well-justified.
There were a few games too. I was in charge with the makan place + menu, games and cert design. Amal had to wrap up the gifts. Nyahaha! Tedious job sia! Over 30 gifts you know. With various sizes s'more. Worst, it was wrapped last minute! Abt 2 hours before the event! Haha! Good thing me and the love dropped by and helped her out. Me with the wrapping while my darlz did the cert printings. Oh btw, Amal woke up very early that morning to make biscuits! Goodness! Rajin sia tu anak! You know what its for?? Doorgifts!! Can you imagine that?? And she wrapped it in small plastics with a cute tag attached to it! If it were me..dont thing i manage to pull it off at the last minute. But seriously, me and Amal make a good team so far. Alhamdulillah..
Check out the pics we took during the HiTea session. Hehe..There were so many cameras snapping every now and then. Too bad i wasnt able to snap any pics during the games section cos i was busy giving instructions and had to give a watchful eyes on the participants in case anyone is cheating. Hehe. The best part is, the winners get to choose the prizes we laid on the table. And guess what? The non-winners also get to bring back a gift. Of their choice also. Haha! So its kind of a win-win situation for everyone. Hope they had fun. (sh-lot, took any pics during the games?)

After we wrapped up the Majlis, the love and me went for window shopping at Causeway Point while waiting for my aunt to return from her Walimah. (We were going JB together afterwards). Sekali "tershopping" plak. Hehe. Bought this cute, pink sweater-like Dano shirt for $20. Maybe I'll get the white and brown one too. After we got tired of walking around, we then went over to Delifrance for a chat.
Cut the story short, me and my aunt reached JB at around 10+ i think. The next day, the rest of the families were already there. Agaknya i tido mati. Didnt evn know that they've reached the night before. Haha! Around noon like that, we went for a window shopping at Angsana. Its not even fasting month yet, but its totally packed! Goodness me! But there are already alot small gerai's selling lovely blouses, baju kurung and stuffs. I'm aiming for this peach office wear which only cost RM30+! Cant wait to go back there. Hehe..(Oh ya! I was lucky cos secara kebetulan, M.Nasir was performing at the basement on that day!! Yay!)
Actually kan..the reason for our fam gathering in JB is bcos one of my aunt wana blanja us to seafood over at Anjung Warisan. The food is fantasitc sia!! Haha! Gemuk jugak aku nih. Asyik makan besaaaaar je!! Isk! Niways, it was really fun catching up with each othere. The cousins are as crazy as always. Come Monday, reality began to sunk in. I was entertaining projects after projects. But by the end of the day, i'm one smiling lady cos my darlz offerred to pic me up for dinner before school. Errm..well, we did have our dinner. But i was soo tired and tole him that "i dnt feel like going to school.". He just laughed and shook his head. We end up going to Junction8 for a movie. We watched "click" as recommended by LadyLee. It was really good. Very family oriented. Actually, its quite true. We tend to be so busy trying to reach our goals and get promoted that we tend to be on "Auto Pilot" mode throughout the whole time. And after we got promoted, and the work pile gets worst, it will come to a point of almost impossible to have some time for you own family; much less for yourself.
Herm..but im a good girl on Tuesday. Went straight to class after work. Heh..Thought i can rest at home on Tues cos i dont have any class. But since work is really piling up, i had to stay till 8 pm! Ugh! End up sleeping over midnight -again! and here i am today, have to type in an entry at work and copy it to blogspot when reach home later. Pathetic huh? My social life is almost non-existance at the moment.
*Counting down : 10 days.*
