Went for a brunch at Mad Jack at around 11+. Not sure the exact location, but its near Adam Rd makaning place. But the ordering way is kinda funny. There's no signage, but we were asked to make our order at the counter, take our own drinks and pay first. The funny part is, at first, the waitress just passed us the menu and asked us to order at the counter. After my bf returned to our seat, the waitress came again and asked, would you like to pay first? I was like, huh? Leh gitu? Then the love returned with the drinks. I find it funny cos there were waitresses around. But we were asked to do a self-service. I mean, rather then having the waitresses going around asking ppl to order and pay at the counter, you should just put a signage. Cos the food were sent to us by the waitresses, y cant they take order sekali? But then, the food is nice lar..It was yummy. 15 bucks for 2 person - heavy brunch.
Next, i went to the Botanical Gardens with the love to discuss some issues. Its nice, but then klaka cos the place now dah mcm zoo. Siap ada lots of souvenir shops seh. Beh nak masuk the actual taman bunga must pay liao. I never even check the price. Such a turn off. BUT i loooove the peaceful atmosphere...We can just spread a tikar anywhere shady and lepak2. Best.
Sunday
Went to the Expo with my fam today. We were joined by the love's fam about an hour later. The traffic and people was just crazy...so many ppl seh...Feel like we were stuck at a Causeway Jam. Haiz..Yah man...its that teruk.. Wanted to do a bit of shopping at John Little..but seeing the payment Q, i changed my mind..
Eh, check out my birthday present for the love..
and his gift for me..he kept pestering me to choose seomthing that i can be reminded of him everytime i see it in the office :) cute aye?
