Selamat Hari Raya Sumer!!!
Today got to be the first Raya that we've reached home by around 6pm!! Ekekekek! Keluar tengah hari, kol 6 dah balik! haha! Mana taknye..2 rumah je. Grandparents house from both parents side. Yalah..pity mum..she needs lots of rest before her op. Hopefully nobody will come and disturb her these few days..isk. But aft op, she'll be seeking refuge at someone's house (shhh) to rest. She needs loads of it. *So, sape2 yang nak datang, baik datang awal2 eh..Also, our Raya outings, most prob you guys gotta skip my house aye? **Shla, take note. But will keep you updated.
Btw, this is the first year i give my parents duit Raya cos i never buy them baju Raya. Mum wasnt in the mood for Raya, so she simply wore her lovely old jubahs instead. Then we first went over to Grandma's (dad's side). Well, i wasnt that close with them, so at times like this, things can get a bit awkward.
Anyway, the owner of the house wasnt around, so Grandma has to tend to everything herself. I mean, she's so old already, and she was practically as hunchbacked as "THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTREDAMN"!! (pun intended. and i kid you not about her being hunchbacked!) Then these people who came for Raya visits at her house didnt help with the dishes somemore! Wahsey...darah up sak! Diorang ingat Nyai ada maid kappa??
My eyes were sore with the dirty dishes that i had to roll up my sleeves of my lovely kurung (ehem) and help out abit in the kitchen. Then got this Ed cousin of mine who teased Nyai, "Wah..Nyai ada maid baru dari Indon seh!". But lucky this cousin (though he's a guy. i repeat, a GUY) also helped out with the dishes and some other things in the kitchen. His fiance is very lucky to have him i tell you.
Btw, the self proclaimed cam-whore has to lay low today; cos she aint got no cam! Haha! Kena mintak simpati with the others to tumpang take pics instead! (Honey, you read that??) Haha! Cant wait for the pics from Nad at Grandma's place to upload it here. Everytime I take pic wif Grandma, i kept thinking if i can see her again next Eid..*sobs..
**Oh! Oh! Forgot to say Congrats to Faizin & Aishah for the still-in-the-womb-future-bundles-of-joy of 3 months old. and my little nieces are all grown up and are now officially toddlers! Yay! (Though jalan still like melayang2 sikit). Love them lots! Sooooo darn cute!!! Tsk!
Next, we went to Pasir Ris to visit Grandpa. Met up with everyone there. It was darn fun. Missed my cuzzies. Especially Boy. He's the only one that's also the only child, and the same age as me in the family. So we were the bestest of frens when we were kids. Oh yah, i was kinda plump the past few years, so everytime he sees me during Raya he'll be like, "Eh gemok! Tepi sikit!". Darah up sak..But today, its like "Eh, Elin..kau dah kurus sikit seh aku tengok kau..". Kembang giler wa cakap sama lu. Pastu terus tak nak makan kat rumah my uncle! Cos nak jaga badan. Hurhurhur..
Btw, at uncle's hse, i mintak simpati with Niza plak to take pics! Pastu buat cam camera sendiri! Haha! **i dah fall in lap with her develish-red Nikon CoolPix S5. Its soooo slick! 6 megapixel for only 500+. kinda cheap.
So demure kan kan kan? :p Mcm minah kampung decent mana gitu..Haha!
