[Mission Impossible]

I spent a total of $150 in less then an hour's lunch break yesterday.

How so?

Well, blame my fiance. Initially we planned to have a family dinner this Sat with both our parents to celebrate his mum's bd. *Actually i see it more as an excuse to meet up and spend time together.

So, i sweet talked to Yani (Alhamdulillah, the lass is now in hijab :-) ) into having lunch over at Junction8 so that i can grab some last minute prezzies.

Anyway, imagine this: I was grabbing a bite the moment i reached the shopping center and run around hunting for prezzies that suits both of em and making decisions on the spot. Haiz..I hate
making any last minute thingy. But at least now i know hw crazy it feels hunting for christmas presents. Heh..By the time i reached office, i start to feel very hungry.. Ouch! But it was worth it lah.

I was totally lost at first cos im nt sure what i'm looking for. Then we passed by Bodyshop and i got Mama a set of skincare product which cost around $80. At first i was thorn between this Mango set meant for ppl with very dry skin or the White Mask set. So after consulting my "advisor", i went for the White Mask lah. The whole casing also very the nice lah. Velvet s'more. (This store alone, i spent some 20minutes deciding if this is the perfect gift for Mama.)

Then we proceed to Seiyu and got Ibu a Bonia wallet. Hermm..My own wallet is already thorn, but i not only think twice, or thrice about getting anew one...but tens of times till i decided against it. Haha! Especially when it cost over $80. Ironici isnt it? But i settled with something of that price for my mum lah (without thinking twice! sometimes i wonder why i nvr seem to mind splurging for others and not myself...haiz..mabbe i should start pampering myself more..).

Good thing both items were on 20-25% discounts so it cost me around $70 each. Mayb you guys wonder why im also getting a prezzie for Ibu when its only Mama's bd. Well, Ibu's bd is last month, but we didnt celebrate it cos mum isnt the fashionable type, and getting her a prezzie is one hard nut to crack. She know nuts about fashion and dont intend to know. Plus, i was still finishing my studies and laptop installment then. So she's reluctant to accept anything from me. But i know she WILL use this purse cos her current purse is now a wreck. Holes here and there. Threads poking out in every nook n corner. Sew undone..

The evening, both families met up for dinner at this small comfy little space surrounded by a garden at CCK, opp. Lot1. I found out that the food isnt as nice as before. Even the Prima Deli cake the newlyweds bought tastes a hundred times better.

But heck. Most importantly, we enjoyed each other's company and had a blast. Its moments like this that me n wan really love n always look forward to.

Everyone was with their partners. Our parents are on 1 side talking about old-adult stuff whereas us in anthr, talking about young-adult stuff. Boleh gitu? heh..Anyway, ive been longing to have a trip to Bangkok to do some shopping and was hopping to do so on our honeymoon. Too bad the love strongly vetoed for a Europe getaway. Haiz....Im nt in favour cos: Firstly, its hard to get Halal food, and secondly, everything's expensive especially with the xchange rate and all! How to talk him out of it??

*Actually thats one of the reason why i dont intend to spend much on my wedding. So i can spent more on my shopping! Shhh! Heh..Ya lah..spend so much also, just to let other ppl see mah. Pffft...

Oh! Almost forgot! Thankies so much for the future SIL for all the goodies she brought back from Thailand for me! Weeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, btw....congrats to cousin Boy & Niza for their engagement.. :)
